Our Verdict
Very good upgrade offer, standard is 75,000 points. Nice thing about these upgrade offers is that they don’t have lifetime language so you can get the bonus even if you’ve held the card before. If you’ve never held the card before you will probably prefer the 150k point offer currently available. My P2 got the offer today after logging on to check on her Gold card. She has had a Plat before.
EDIT - Before requesting the upgrade, I also saw the offer also show up on the Offers page.
I just noticed this offer on my account last week. Went to upgrade today and now it’s gone. I never saw any deadline. Oh well. Any way to get it back? I tried calling but they only saw a 25k upgrade offer. I’ll hold off and assume it will come back at some point.

I never get these offers on my gold card that i have had for over over 10 years. just an offer to "upgrade" with no bonus.
I take that back. there is an offer for 25,000 points on my account when spending $2,000 plus i see the same 5x for 6 months on it as well. First time i have seen ANY bonus offer for an upgrade from my gold to platinum.
Yeah, I took the 25k offer when it included 10x supermarkets.
I have the same but there is lifetime language on mine so rather useless.
