[Expired] [Targeted] AmEx Offer: Crate & Barrel, Spend $100+ & Receive $20 Statement Credit

Deal has expired, view more AmEx offers by clicking here.

The Offer

No direct link, targeted offer

  • Spend $100 or more at Crate & Barrel online and get $20 back (some people have the same deal but for 2,000 Membership Rewards)

The Fine Print

  • Not valid on in store purchases
  • Valid until September 30th, 2019
  • Offer valid for purchases made online at crateandbarrel.com and cb2.com, and via mobile app
  • Not valid for e-gift card purchases.
  • Excludes business sales, corporate orders, physical catalog and mail orders, gift registry, and phone orders with physical locations. Excludes corporate gift card purchases.

Our Verdict

Physical gift cards should work fine, eGiftcard purchases will not work. These cards can be profitable if you have access to good private rates, but no crazy profit unfortunately.

  • Ugh. Just bought $100+ from a friend's wedding registry. Got the offer on my BBP and personal Gold. Let's see if C&B allows be to swap payment methods.

  • When we got married a dozen plus years ago, we registered at Crate & Barrel. That stuff - mostly kitchen ceramics / glass ware etc - is still going strong and is fabulously beautiful. The ceramic stuff - dishwasher/oven/microwave safe - is truly r/buyitforlife worthy

What is weird is that the retailer never reached out to us afterwards. We get catalogs from shops we bought 1 chair from 20+ years ago and never bought from again. But a place where we easily spend 10k plus furnishing our home just lost track of us, and we easily fit their shopper demographic, so you'd think they would have found us again, even if we were not already prior customers.

It's strange. I love my dishwasher safe 2004 era C&B wine glasses, just as much as my Spiegelau, Riedels, Nachmtmans, Schott & Zwissel etc.

  • Now it’s posted here. RIP crate and barrel money maker loophole. It’s a matter of time when noobs will find out the teick and share it everywhere.
