Just got back from Hilton Cabo. Paid food and bev charges with like 22 of the 50 dollar gift cards. Front desk was really nice and accommodating about it. Asked if anyone ever used so many gcs and they were like no!

well, i would have bought them to use for a hotel stay since I am planning one anyway...but they don't ship to hawaii or vermont. We must have some strange state law about gift cards they don't want to comply with ..sigh
I need a little hand holding apparently. These have no resale value? I can't find any exchanges that buy them. Anyone buying just intend to use them for hotel stays?

FYI - I wanted to verify about using multiple cards on one reservation, so I called Hilton CS today and the rep confirmed me there is no limit to how many gift cards you can apply - it will just keep letting you add more (as a credit card payment) until "the full amount is tendered".
It's just strange to me you use them by charging them as credit cards on the checkout process (I guess it's because they're AMEX-issued cards).
