I had an award stay at the Hyatt Regency Maui 11/15-11/22, asked the concierge if it was possible to charge the Lu'au to the room, they called me later in the day to confirm they could do that for me.
This triggered the amex offer and I received $150 off
Can confirm that GH Kauai charge of $707 triggered the $150 offer.

I'm staying at the GH Kauai through the New Year with a checkout of Jan 2. I'm assuming that since my card won't be charged until I check out, I won't be eligible for this offer?
Have them charge your card as a prepayment. You might even be able to call in and have them do this before you get there.
Anyone know if this will work if we prepay the $700 for a reservation after the promotional period?
Hi I'm wondering if you know whether there is a listing of participating Hyatts in Hawaii that this offer applies to? The terms of the offer simply state that the residences and timeshares do not apply. "Offer valid only at participating Hyatt hotels and resorts in Hawaii." -- specifically I'm wanting to confirm that the Hyatt Centric Waikiki is part of this offer.
