Our Verdict
Keep in mind there are some issues with AmEx offers currently. If you have a stay after 10/14/18 then you can usually still get the credit if you call in and ask them to charge your card in advance.

Here is my question: I have an award stay at the Kimpton Brice Hotel in Savannah, GA in early October. How do they know that I am spending the money on breakfast or dinner at the hotel? Will the offer work? I feel it's like buying gift cards when the offer specifically excludes them, yet their POS system cannot tell the difference. Thoughts?
