Our Verdict
Last time they ran a Martha Stewart deal it was spend $50 & get $40 back so this is a lot worse in comparison. Martha Stewart Wines isn’t on any portals currently, but a number of coupon sites are offering $30 off $100+. That would allow you to purchase $100 in wine, pay $70 on a card with this offer and get $20 back. That’s half priced wine. Personally I think Martha Stewart Wines are so overpriced that even at 50% off it’s not a good deal.
When you make a Martha Stewart order you also usually receive a coupon for $50 off $75+ (note: Not sent out this time around). Some people still have these from last time and they are still valid until September 2018. If you spent $110, you’d receive $50 off and be charged $60. This would also trigger the American Express offer for another $20 back. Basically spend $110 and pay $40.
Fingers crossed better stacking opportunities come along to make this deal better.

I can confirm this new shipment came without a coupon… I guess that’s it for me, bye-bye Martha!
I still had $50 off $75 coupons from last year. I did two orders of 8 $10 bottles as AMEX offer is cumulative. $160 – $100 + $5.26 tax – $20 = $45.26 / 16 = $2.83 per bottle.
Registered for the spend $60 get $20 Amex offer. Have two Martha Stewart wine accounts (two different email addresses). Currently free shipping if 6+ bottles.
Logged into account #1. Ordered a Sweet Life Collection (6 bottles) for $66. Applied MARTHA25 promo code. Final cost $41.
Logged into account #2. Ordered a European Passport Collection (6 bottles) for $69. Applied MARTHA25 promo code. Final cost $44.
The two orders triggered the American Express offer. $41 + $44 – $20 = $65
$65 / 12 bottles = $5.42 per bottle.
Will give some of the bottles as gifts in the future (holiday, birthdays, etc.)
My order was delivered today. They don’t come with any vouchers anymore unfortunately.
Thanks for the DP, let me add.
Are insider trading stock tips included in the shipment?
I had a $50 off $75 voucher code left over from the last Martha Stewart Deal. The best price per bottle using both this voucher and the Amex offer is for Eleven $10 bottles. You get free shipping and my final cost, including sales tax, was $4 a bottle.
Wine snobs notwithstanding, the wines you get from MS are perfectly fine. But yes, they are overpriced, so it all comes down to cost per bottle. I averaged around $4-5 per bottle last year and was very happy with the results
If you’re interested in trying to work this deal, sign up to receive email marketing for them. They’re constantly running deals–not amazing deals, mind you, but deals which may be worth your while in combination with the Amex deal. Note that the way the site is set up you probably won’t be able to combine an email marketing deal with another–you can only load one voucher/promo at a time.
If you are into this, there is a “better” Amex offer of $25 off $65 at wineinsiders.com.
wineinsiders.com is owned and operated by the same company that is behind marthastewartwine.com: drinks.com.
To no surprise, wineinsiders.com has the same prices, policies, and coupons as marthastewartwine.com. (In fact, marthastewardwines is wineinsiders.com with martha’s face slapped onto it. drinks.com is also behind wine you buy at boxed.com and others.)
That’s not really better considering Martha has a $30 off $100 public coupon.
Wine insiders also has a public coupon… WINE30. Plus you can use the same log-in that you used for Martha, no need to create a new account.
It’s a decent offer.
Anyone know why I only get Amex offers that offer cash back instead of MR? I’d much rather have the MRs.
No idea unfortunately
I don’t have an answer but my PRG, green and one PRG AU get all MR offers and the rest get cash back. They are my three oldest Amex cards so maybe age has something to do with it
Word on the street is they also come with insider trading info on the inside of the label, could be worth a lot more than a few MR points.
LOL!
