  • The cash back from Rakuten finally did change from $0 to $5 about 3 weeks after the first payment. Also, I waited a few days before my billing date to cancel, and when they asked why, I selected "not enough content." They then offered to extend it for free for another month, which I accepted, and my next billing date was pushed out another month.

  • Wow I had this offer saved and was waiting to sign up after my paramount+ & showtime bundle trial expired. Just signed up for showtime trial and only then noticed the offer I added before was gone!! Guess I will be canceling in less than a month…

    • I still have it, but I activated it when it first appeared. Had you activated it? If not, it may have reached its activation limit.

  • how much tax for $10.99 plan in Califonia? I remember last time I sign up Paramount+ Disney+ , looks like no tax in my CA address? don't know why?

if Showtime with tax, Can I just fill out any Tax free state address(such as oregon) to make it tax free?

    • You have to enter your Amex cc so that will pretty much give it away.

With the 30 day trial, I don't know if they show what the actual total charge will be with tax. If you didn't have tax before, why would you think you would now?

  • Also, Showtime is going to merge with Paramount+ soon. So, if you already have Paramount+, you'll be getting Showtime too; I guess.

  • Don’t forget tax. This is actually about $2 worth of tax depending on which state you live in. For me, there are only 9 mediocre quality movies on my watchlist that actually are on Showtime, so that’s not even worth $2 for me.

  • Actually got 3 months free, 30 day free trial, first billing 3/3, second 4/3 and Amex offer ends 5/31 for me. $5 back at Rakuten as well. Good deal if you want showtime for a few months. Thanks DOC.

    • Rakuten tracked as a $0 purchase with $0 cash back for me. I'll have to see if it updates after the first charge when the free trial ends. Other sites (SwagBucks, etc.) mention that you have to stay past the free trial, so I'm hoping it will work out.

      • I think Peek means that they combined a free month trial with the two months full rebate from Amex.
