The Offer
No direct link, targeted offer
- Get a one time $10 statement credit by using your enrolled card to spend a minimum of $50+ in one or more transactions online at https://grocery.walmart.com by 11/15/2018
- Some people have the same offer but for 1,000 Membership Rewards points
The Fine Print
- One or more transactions.
- Offer valid only on grocery.walmart.com.
- Valid only on US website.
- Excludes purchases on third party or affiliated websites linked with/from grocery.walmart.com (such as but not limited to Walmart.com, Walmart Contacts, Walmart Checks, Walmart Photo Services, Walmart Stationary, and Walmart Moneygram).
Our Verdict
You can also get $10 off $50, up to three times until September 30th as well. You’d want to spend $60+ with that promotion, it would be reduced to $50+ and then you’d get a further $10 back from American Express. A word of warning with Walmart grocery, spend more than exactly $50 as often times are repriced/you receive a different amount of an item causing you to drop below the threshold you need.

It looks like the code “KINDNESS” works still for $10 off $50, making $60 in Walmart groceries come out to $40 after the coupon + Amex credit. Debating finally using it this week.
Walmart grocery is apparently a variation of pickup in store, only it’s not available at all Walmarts. Apparently the one closest to me is an hour and a half drive with some very expensive tolls, and it’s not even available until next week.
Anyone know if this codes as a grocery purchase? I know the physical Walmart Grocery near me does but unsure of online
One name per offer.
I have 6 cards and only one can added this offer.
However, I have different additional cards with different names, and all of them can add one offer.
If you have many pets, don’t be in favor of only one.
Ive never used walmart grocery, but is it strictly only groceries? Inother words an one buy gift cards with this promo?
Answered my own question. You cant buy GCs though walmart grocery.
FYI, multi-tab trick is dead. Had three tabs opened, and after adding it to the first card, I got an error message on the next two that said it had already been added to another card.
Even if you were able to add it to all 3 cards Amex could later claw back the points. There is a large thread about this so you must have missed it.
Read the terms of the offer closely. It used to be something like “one offer per card”. Now it is something like “one offer per Cardmember”.
I didn’t miss it. There’s plenty of dp out there of folks still being able to add some amex offers to multiple cards. Maybe AMEX has completely shut the technilogical loophole, … or maybe they’ve only shut it on certain offers … only time will tell.
There’s always been a risk of AMEX clawing back the dollars. Personally, I’d take the risk (if they allowed me to add it to multiple cards). Each of us has our own risk/reward profile, and each of us have to decide if it is worth pursuing.
i saw the walmart offer in 2 separate cards with their own separate logins. once i added the offer two one card, the offer disappeared from the other login/card.
Got it on 4 cards. Question… I have a Simply Cash Plus business card. Do employee cards get AMEX offers like AU’s on personal cards do? Thanks for the help in advance!! John 3:16
One offer per card member is the way I read it. We have 5 Amex cards (one is an AU) but only two actual people so my interpretation is only two offers can be used in total. One per SSN.
Yes employee cards are just like AU cards. For Amex Offers purposes each employee card will need a unique SSN and its own Amex login.
