[Expired] [Targeted] Amex Offers: 10% Back on any Insurance Bill, Max $20

Deal has expired, view more Insurance deals by clicking here.

The Offer

Check your Amex login for the following offer:

  • Get 10% back on any insurance payment
  • Max $20 in statement credits

The Fine Print

  • Expires 7/15/2019
  • Government-backed insurance policies may be excluded.

Our Verdict

Looks to be highly targeted (at least I wasn’t targeted), feel free to share the end date and the other terms in the comments below. Most people should be able to max this out easily by paying health, auto or home insurance. Keep in mind it’s usually not an issue paying well in advance.

For anyone that has Progressive, they don’t accept Amex but they do accept PayPal, which in turn accepts Amex. I ran a payment on my Amex card using PayPal to pay my auto insurance premium and immediately received the Amex offer email.

Good news: Got the offer.

Bad news: Not a single one of my insurance carriers accepts AMEX.

Progressive accepts PayPal, which accepts Amex. Don’t know if you have progressive or if their MCC through PayPal will be listed as insurance though.
