• This reminds me of the 10% cash back Apple Pay deal Discover did about five or six years ago. 10% cash back on up to $10,000 in spend. Gift cards weren’t excluded at first. Between me and P2 made $4,000 with the first year anniversary doubling of cash back. Those were the good old days.

• Hoping this will stack with 5% wholesale clubs so it could be done at BJs....

• I got this same offer, however it was to use the Samsung Pay, not Google Pay. I happen to have both on my phone.

• I got on Apple pay. Fine print says no gift card purchase. How can they tell?

  • Did you already have Discover linked to Apply Pay and have you used it before? I have done both but didn’t receive the offer.

      • Lol they sure are good at targeting. I guess I have to hope it’s a slow rollout to everyone.

        • More spending = more transaction fees and money they make from the Average Joe.
