Update 12/18/22: A Fidelity rep on Reddit states that Fidelity has extended the window where you can earn $1 per debit transaction of $10+, up to $50 max: previously you had until 12/31/22 for this promotion, they are now extending that through 1/31/23 (still the same $50 max from entire promotion).   • Fidelity Bloom is offering account holders $1 cash back per purchase made with the Bloom debit card of $10+. Maximum of $50 cash back.

Our Verdict

Fidelity Bloom typically offers $.10 with each debit card charge, and this offer increases it to $1 through year-end, up to $50 back. Works out to be 10% back if you spend $10 exactly on each purchase.

  • I opened the Bloom accounts on 2/12/23 and 1 week later on 2/19/2023 received an email about the $1 per $10 debit card transaction; however, the email still references the 12/31/22 expiration date of the offer.

  • Just found in the APP that both Savings and Checking have routing and account numbers. I was having Bloom pull money and that takes 7 business days! I linked a bank via micro deposits and sent money in the morning and it arrived the SAME day. Hope this makes deposits and withdrawals FASTER for everyone

  • Both P1 and P2 received another $30 bonus from putting $300 in Save account. Transfer posted 1/30/2023, bonus 2/1.

    Never received debit card in time for the $1 per debit card they cuz they sent to wrong address. They wouldn’t honor a goodwill credit for their mistake.

  • I saw a notification from my Fidelity Bloom mobile app that they have renewed the 10% match for 2023. Same deal as earlier - Add up to $300 to your SAVE account and they will match 10%, up to $30.

  • Also, does anyone know if only pinless purchases qualify? AKA if I use the card as a debit on Amazon or somewhere else (PIN required), will it work fine? Thanks in advance for the guidance/datapoints

  • CashApp transactions limited to 4 per day even though on the question and answer page says debit transactions limited to 15. They do count toward the bonus however.

  • This deal reset as of a January 1st. If you completed the $50 last year, you can now do it again for another $50 this year. @chucksithe

    • Where do you see that? Are you sure it's not just the January extension mentioned in the post, and not a new $50?

      • I hit the cap in December of last year earning the full $50. The cents per swipe showed 0 as of January 1st, but the offer was still on my app with the new expiration date. Completed some transactions just to test it and I’m still getting the full $1 per $10 transaction.

        Edit: Could be the remainder of last year? Someone below said they got over $50.

        • David is correct down below. I thought it was reset, but it just looks like you can get an extra 6 transactions in.
