Our Verdict
Hilton is all about stacking deals. This could be very lucrative for a stay in Hawaii:
- [Targeted] AmEx Offer: Hilton Hotels Hawaii, Spend $1,000+ & Receive $200 Statement Credit
- [YMMV/Targeted] Hilton: Stay 2/4 Nights Or More & Get 5,000/50,000 Bonus Points
- Q1 hotel promotion. Earn 2,000 points on every stay plus an additional 10,000 points on every 5 stays
- Go through a portal to book, this is another 4% cash back or 6% if you use Acorns.
- Use the American Express Hilton Aspire for another $250 in resort credits
Assuming you spend exactly $1,000 you’d get:
- $200 back from American Express offer
- $75 daily resort credit
- $250 resort credit from Aspire
- $40-$60 back from portal
- 2,000 points from Q1 promotion
- 14,000 points from Aspire card
- 15,000 from being Diamond

This is not even a good deal. I tried searching for Memorial day weekend for Hilton Waikoloa village and the rate that's eligible for the $75 resort credit is $372 for three people but the Honors discount is $318 or $370 for breakfast for two.
There's also a Waldorf offer by email. $100 each night. The below link is from my email
http://waldorfastoria3.hilton.com/en/offers/100092270.htm?WT.mc_id=zTGWA0WW1XX2OLE3Email4Email5Email6MULTIBR7_214838707_8975413&om_rid=NvPiHt&om_mid=_BalucbB9k$9ACS&wt.mc_id=CMEM_BalucbB9k$9ACS
Received the $100 per night WA credit email as well
These additional credit special rates usually are significantly higher than normal cash rates.
e.g I tried to book Hilton Los Cabos 11/16-20. 1)Flexible price $209, 2)Another day in Paradise Promo $165, 3)this "75 free credit" rate $257. So...
When you run a reservation without the promo code, the other cash options are cheaper. So instead of 4 Mai tais at the bar for $75, bring your own bottle
I don't see any language about it - is this only for cash paid stays, or do you think this could apply to award stays (or points & cash)?
Probably cash only
I got an email for $100 at waldorf astoria properties
I got $50 at waldorf astoria properties
Interesting
I got an email about $50 credit so seems to have a few levels. Thanks for all the great info on this site!
