Update 6/9/21: New round went out widely via email, two separate offers: $5 or $10 or $20 in Amazon gift cards per $1,000 in payments this time. This time they allow use of credit or debit cards, so much more useful deal.

The Offer
Plastiq is sending out an email offer to select users:
- Send a payment of $1,000+ with your bank account as the payment method and get a $20 Amazon gift card.
Our Verdict
A bunch of people have gotten this offer. Paying a bill with your bank account is free, so this is an easy $20 moneymaker if you have a bill to pay and are comfortable giving your bank info. I’m not sure what Plastiq gains from having free payments sent, perhaps it makes them the hub of bill payments which they hope will spill into profitable payments too.
