The Offer

- Qatar has sent out an e-mail to some healthcare workers that tried to get the a free flight offering them a 50% off coupon instead. Coupon is good for economy tickets for up to you and up to three companions.
Our Verdict
Obviously not as good as a free flight, but this still might come in handy. I’m not sure if the coupons can be shared, but probably not appropriate to do so even if they can be as these are meant for healthcare workers (although sharing with another healthcare worker is probably OK).

I tried entering the promo code and I don’t think its working. The price for regular ticket with the promo code and without the promo code is the same.
Any idea if you can do 4 tickets, but then each ticket can change their travel plans individually based on Qatar’s change destination and date policy?
Got this email as well. After putting in the promo code it looks like it prices at around 50% off of full fare economy but without any of the benefits. It’s only a little bit cheaper than their regular saver fares but is ineligible for points upgrades (probably even paid upgrades) and has more expensive change fees.
Yes, 50% off code is only for healthcare workers. I checked terms and it said they will need to present ID at checkin just like the ones who got the free ticket.
Where were you able to read the terms? They are not fully stated in the email.

I am wondering if there is any Healthcare Workers really get their previous “Complimentary” Tickets?
Yes, got one for my friend who’s a doctor.
