Our Verdict

Previously the highest bonus was 40,000 miles (also a targeted offer) so this looks to be a new high. These offers were sent out via mail, let me know if anybody sees it by checking for pre-approved offers. You can also transfer additional miles from SPG, Chase & Diners Club.

Make sure you read these things you should know about U.S. credit cards before you consider applying as well.

  • Personally I wouldn't bother with this card. Horrible customer service. Ask for assistance and US Bank sends you to Korean Air who makes ridiculous requests to resolve issues or refer you back to US Bank and then the cycle repeats. I NEVER received our bonus miles... Never... US Bank at least was... professional, but the Sky Pass folks... forget it. I used this card for years and put over 30K on it... Without resolve we finally just canceled them.

    • The bonus comes from US Bank. NOT Korean Airlines. Does US Bank have your SkyPass on file?

  • I got both the personal and business offers in the mail yesterday. Both for 45k after $3k spend. The personal says prequalified right in it.

    • I also received both the 45k/3k offers for the personal and business cards last week. I have no prior history with U.S. Bank or Korean Air other than signing up for SKYPASS membership about 6 months ago. Anyone know the likelihood of being approved both cards at the same time?

  • I received an email offer this morning for $150 statement credit on $1,500 spend and 15k miles after first purchase. Defitnely not as good as the offer in the targeted mail.

        • Personally I wouldn't bother either way. Horrible customer service. Ask for assistance and US Bank sends you to Korean Air who makes ridiculous requests to resolve issues or refer you back to US Bank and then the cycle repeats. I NEVER received our bonus miles... Never

  • i had this card two years ago... now hoping there will be a mailer for the biz card as well... they are a good deal for the sign up bonus.

    • Have you cancelled your card since? Was it a chore to do so?

I also signed up for it previously for the targeted offer. But dont think I want to hold it longer than 1 yr since thinking abt churning it
