Avoiding Fees

Monthly Fees

Silver business checking account has no monthly fees to worry about.

Early Account Termination Fee

There is no early account termination fee to worry about

Our Verdict

We don’t usually see business offers that are publicly accessible and this bonus is easy to meet the requirements for and keep fee free. Because of that I will be adding this to our best checking bonus page.

  • How long would you guys recommend keeping these accounts open after receiving the bonus? Would closing too soon affect ChexSystems or EWS?

  • Opened 10/28/22, fulfilled the deposit and transactions and got the $400 today. I did not see this account requires a minimum balance to keep the bonus or avoid fees or anything, so I guess I can transfer the initial deposit out to my other accounts now?

  • Code has changed and no longer requires going to a branch. There is also an extra $100 if you settle a payment. Finally, now only requires $1500 for 45 days

  • If you open a ‘business’ checking account, can you list this as income in your personal taxes or do you need to start filing business taxes? Especially if you do multiple business bonuses? Don’t currently have a valid business.

  • Am I eligible for this if I already have a regular checking account and receiving a bonus for that one?

  • DP:
10/3: Opened Silver Business Checking using promo code Q3BUS22.
    10/14: Completed $1500 deposit
    11/4: Completed 10 purchases
    11/10: $400 bonus posted

    • I opened at about the same time, and completed the requirements two weeks ago but haven't got the bonus. One thing I realized is that my initial deposit check got returned and also charged a $15 fee (but my good deposits were still >1500), wondering if this would mess it up?

  • Anyone else have to show business documents or get registered with the state for their "business"?

  • USBank will not let me open a checking account, personal or business with them. I am in Connecticut.
The reason they give is that they cannot verify my data, I called to see what is missing they say they do not know why this happens.

    • If you're out of their footprint, they typically require an existing relationship. If you open a brokerage account or credit card, you can probably open a checking account a few days later.

      • Can confirm. I opened brokerage account and then business checking a few days later. Will close brokerage soon.
