[Targeted] U.S. Bank/Elan/Fidelity Cards: Get $10 With Cable/Cell or Streaming Payment Of Any Amount

The Offer

Check your email or login with U.S. Bank or Elan card (such as the Fidelity 2% card) for the one of the following deals:

  • Get 1,000 bonus points when you pay any Telecom, Cellular, or Cable bill with your Card by July 31, 2022. Valid whether you set up automatic payments or if pay one bill at a time.
  • Others got an offer for 2,500 points.
  • In the comments, readers report other variations of this offer, such as a Streaming or Utilities spend requirement.
  • Others report a different kind of spend offer to get $10 back with $50 in Gas spend.

The Fine Print

  • Promotion period is from June 7, 2022, through July 31, 2022. To receive this offer, you must pay any Telecom/Cable bill with your Fidelity® Rewards Visa Signature® Card by July 31, 2022.
  • The Rewards Points award will be applied to your account 2-3 billing cycles after the end of the promotion period.
  • The maximum number of Rewards Points award is one. This offer is not transferable. Your account must remain open, have available credit, and be current (no minimum payment past due) to qualify. This offer may not apply if your credit card has changed to a different type of card within the last 12 weeks or changes before the Rewards Points award is applied. Elan Financial Services cannot control how merchants choose to identify their business and/or classify purchases and reserves the right to determine which purchases qualify. Sounds like you can pay any amount, even one penny, and get the $10 or $25 back. Easy win for those targeted.

  • I had the "Earn 2,500 points when you pay for business telecom bills with your card" offer on my Business Leverage card. Paid a $50 bill on 09/13 and got 2,500 bonus points posted on 12/30.

  • I had the "Get $10 With Cable/Cell or Streaming Payment Of Any Amount" offer.
    Purchase made 6/17 of $30. As of today 9/28, still no $10 credit.

  • Got the streaming service version, but I don't pay for any currently outside of the ones I have to charge to Amex Platinum (Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+, and the HBOMax addon for another Hulu account). Doesn't look like Hulu allows one-time or small payments either.

  • Get 1000 points for one or more payments on telco/cable/cell phone bill by 9/30/2022. Will reload my cell phone plan, easy $10.

  • Called yesterday, rep says SiriusXM does not work for cable or cell (telecom) $10 off deal.

    I have two Fidelity cards. Targeted for one. Last round, both targeted.

  • I don't have a real cable or cell bill.. anyway to fake this to get the free $10?

    for example, buying a .99 item from the AT&T store, etc? any ideas?

    I use Google Voice and YouTube.. so don't have either of these types of bills

  • My offer was cable or cellular 1000 points, exp 9/30. Called to inquire if streaming was included as I don’t have traditional cable and was told yes, NETFLIX, other streaming platforms are included under “cable” for the offer I rec’d.

    • I have seen Cable coding as Streaming on AffinityFCU, can't speak for sure about other cards.

    • Better get that in writing. I doubt a streaming service is going to code as "cable." You might have to fight for those points later.
