Our Verdict

Recently they sent out the following targeted bonuses on these cards:

Pretty sure this 30,000 bonus is as good as it gets publicly though. Make sure you read these things you should know about U.S. credit cards before you consider applying as well.

  • I got a 40k targeted mailer with 3k spend. (AF not waived) expires 4/31/17. maybe its a 45 th anniversry promo or something. already have 2 US bank cards, not sure if Im going go through with it.

      • I got both Korean personal and business April 2017, canceled both July 2017. I have been looking to pull the trigger on new apps, though in addition to the term Matt unearthed, I have held off for for three reasons, which may align with what Matt found:
        (1) I still get marketing emails as if I still have the cards.
        (2) I have not gotten any targeted offers to my SkyPass account registered email since I got these.
        (3) Both cards hung around in my online profile a long time, personal finally disappeared lase 2016, I hadn't checked business in a long time so just now logged in and see the card still there. I called in and the business card was never properly closed. So ignore everything above!

I may wait till August to have the personal just past 1 year closed and business on this new supposed 12-month clock.

    • found this in the agreement

Previous accounts closed within the last 12 months will be reopened and no enrollment miles will be awarded.

not sure if anyone has had success or not.
