U.S. Bank Radisson Rewards Business Card No Longer Available Online

The U.S. Bank Radisson Rewards business card is no longer available for sign up online, direct links return an ‘offer no longer valid page‘ and the dedicated site to Radisson Rewards cards now only show the two personal versions of the card (personal currently has a 120,000 point bonus). Apparently the card is still available for sign up in branch. People are mostly interested in the business variation of this card because U.S. Bank business cards do not report to your personal credit report, meaning they don’t count towards your 5/24 status.

  • i wonder if USB will forcibly convert all radisson biz visa holders to another product. hope not. ive has this card for 5yrs

  • Applied for this recently using a still live link...went pending...but appears as if I was approved when I check online. Nothing official yet though. Been a long time Club Carlson card holder...well long as in a several years long.

    • Hey there - at the bottom of each page, there's a "Contact Us" link. That takes you to the email addresses for Will (will@doctorofcredit.com) and Chuck (chuck@doctorofcredit.com). If you ever come across a new bonus or some kind of tip that they've not covered before, you can just email them directly.

  • I have a bunch of points with them.
Do they expire if no activity?
    How often is activity needed?

  • Radisson is such a niche player that it's hard to get excited about having any points with them (at least after they did away with the great 2 for 1 award promo a few years ago).

That said, every once in a while a niche brand can be useful. For Radisson, this is most likely to happen in Europe. But they have some useful USA hotels, too. Like if you need to stay at the SEA airport this summer, their newly renovated airport hotel is 38,000 points (as opposed to over $300). So you're likely to eventually use the points if you travel a bit.

    • agree. Used the SEA property last year with a FN cert. Hotel was old but location is very convenient just at the bottom of the slope from airport in about 5 min walk. glad to hear it is finally renovated.
That said, in past 2 years time we only managed to use 2 award nights - one at SEA and one at Helsinki. 2019 would be at zero usage.

I only kept it at last Nov renewal because the 10K bonus after 10x $10 spend promo sweetened the anniversary 40K bonus. Else I would have canceled it already.

When AF comes up again this Nov, I am not sure I would keep the card - paying for pts that just sit there isn't do me any good when the program is so difficult to use, esp we are sitting a combined 400K.

      • Don't they charge you something like $69 for 40,000 points on renewal? I pay it every year, and don't really do anything else with the card these days. I think that's a fair price to buy the points. Like in SEA, that's a great deal for the room.

  • Does anyone know if you can open this business card without having any other accounts with US Bank, and if so, does a business card count as a "relationship" established with US Bank that would satisfy the requirement of the Altitude Reserve?

    • I opened this card couple months ago and this is my first US Bank card ever. Just credit limit is kind of low 5,000

    • Nope. Biz credit card doesn't satisfy the requirement for altitude. Only personal credit card does

  • People also interested in the business card because annual fee is $60, versus $75 on the personal.
