The Partnership
Uber has announced a partnership with Sears Shop Your Way Rewards Points. Riders will receive an entry in the $10,000 shop your way rewards points sweepstakes when they connect their accounts an additional entry for every ride they complete. Every month 1,000 winners will receive a prize of $10 in Shop Your Way Points. In addition to that those in Chicago and New York will receive $2 in points for every trip they complete.
New drivers that sign up can earn up to $1,000 by registering at http://www.shopyourway.com/uber. In addition to this drivers who link their accounts will also get 50% off on oil changes and 30% back in points on all labor at Sears Auto Centers.
Our Verdict
I suspect Uber will be making a lot more partnerships like this and they’ll allow you to link one rewards account at a time. It’s a bit interesting though as Uber is trying to market itself as a rewards destination with things like their Uber Offers.

I take uber every day twice. I made more than $100 in points every month in last 4 months. Got a ton of free stuff from sears and kmart in last 4 months worth more than $350
The SYW surprise points are better, I've been picking up some free stuffs from Sears/K mart recently.
dude. what are they thinking. out of all the programs, they pick a program like SYW? at least they have the SPG relationship which I love. They should do more of that. You dont even get points with SYW. Just sweepstakes entries. geez...
You do get points in NYC & Chicago, bit weird it's limited like that though.

This one is hilarious because Sears/Kmart has basically retreated from the densest parts of urban metros, and the only remaining locations are in the exurbs (where no one's riding an Uber except to the airport).
