This is a frequent offer, usually United structure it so to earn the bonus miles you’d need to fly more than you normally do. Not sure what the offers will be like due to COVID-19. You need to register and only flights booked after registering count unfortunately.

hello. my offer is book a trip ($225+) and earn 8,100 bonus award miles. considering i fly within japan annually and paid tickets are $260+ or 11000 miles, assuming i could get a flight around the $225 limit i could get pretty close to a 2 for 1 deal.
Book a trip of $220+ get 6,700 miles.
Book and take a trip 1 time to get 5100 bonus award miles (min $175). 58 days remaining. Sounds like a decent deal to me, especially if stacked with the Travelbank 5x promo.
One trip more than $200 for 2500mi, don't think I will fly.
