Good deal today . 70000 miles round trip to Tahiti.
Worth mentioning the deal also includes New Zealand. Still not a great deal but SFO to Christchurch for 40k is decent.
United is unusable. I am thinking of dumping my United CC. Thing is I've had it for so long I'm worried that my score will plummet. That is the only reason. For me and where I go - United is a non-starter.

United gutted their program just 3 days ago with a major devaluation. This so-called "sale" is just their misdirection to distract the suckers.
70000 round trip to Tahiti from east coast USA is pretty good deal today.
I thought 80-90k was the normal round trip rate for coach anyway?!
Nope much higher.
Virtually all 40k/45k flights not originating from SFO require at least 2 layovers.
