I was approved. I live in Fairfax County, more than a 50 mile drive to the nearest branch in Winchester.
Credit card funding up to $500 is an option during the application; however, next business day I received a message saying my CC (Chase Ink Unlimited) was rejected.
In my reply message, I asked about alternative funding methods and the minimum amount required. Instead, the rep went ahead and successfully charged $10 to my CC, which coded as a cash advance.

Not available in NoVA. All branches are along i-81 between Woodstock and Staunton.
In nova and entered my zip code and it asked to select preferred location. It didn't say product not available in the area at this time like some other banks do.

It goes to the select preferred location option for various NoVA zip codes, though it's not entirely consistent. For example, 22202 and 22209 (Arlington) work, but 20191 (Reston/Herndon) and 20121 (Centreville) don't work despite being much closer to the nearest branch in Winchester.

If you put in a zip that gives you the offer but signup with a zip (i.e your true zip) that wouldn't give the offer will it work out?
I have no idea. My zip was included in the list.
