Not a good product, go with the 2nd gen (cheaper) or pros (better fit, more features).
Great! I was looking for something to stick into my ears so I can be anti social and oblivious to my surroundings.
Have you ever flown on an airplane and wanted to listen to some music? Or worked some place that's noisy and wished you could cancel the ambient noise? There are times I want to be "anti-social" (I prefer to think of it as my own space) and also times I want to be "oblivious to my surroundings" (esp when the surroundings are filled with annoying levels of ambient noise).
My advice: Spend an extra $40-50 and go with the Airpod Pros. The noise canceling and tight seal is a game changer.

Do not buy them if you don't like in ear Airpod pro. I can't even cough or sneeze or not even bend when I wear them. They immediately fall down. I only used handful of times in last two years and sold it on Market place to get Airpod Pro 2 which is wonderful in terms of noise cancelling, spatial audio etc.,
The original Airpod pro would fall out for me. Do the Airpod Pro 2 stay in better?
One can purchase foam ear tips on Amazon for a better fit.
Still have $1k gc apple from 2021. With kinda deals like this, i never got a chance to buy from apple… but thanks i will get these anyway

+1 on apple refurbished store. I have purchased an iPhone 13 Pro Max, MacBook Air M2 15", etc...All came new like condition with a new batteries and 1 year Apple warranty. Many items less expensive than eBay Apple open box selection.

Apple refurbished have new batteries, new screens, new outer shell, and 1-year Apple warranty. Basically new-like condition for with a nice discount.

Apple airpods pro are much better than apple airpods
agree 100%, there are probably silicone tips out there to mod the original AirPod so it stays in your ear, but just spend the extra 30-40 for noise cancellation. Pros are great.

The initial production runs of the first Airpod Pros had issues which Apple fixed in the Airpod Pro 2s. Always better to wait a year after a new product release before purchasing IMAO.
Did you make a claim? Airpods have a 1-year warranty and many credit cards give you an extra year. Citi Rewards+ gives you 2 extra years so I use that for electronics and some other things for this reason.
The same thing happened my left airpod pro 1st gen after just over a year of use. I wonder if there will be a class action...
i wish I didn't lose the fake/first copy airpod pro I bought in a street market in Mumbai India for around $10 three months ago. Tested it and worked fine and if it stopped working , I wouldn't regret much like the original airpod pro left earbud that went dead.
