Update 9/14/20: Deal has been extended. Hat tip to FM
The Offer
- Wyndham is offering 7,500 bonus points when you complete a two night stay. Must book by September 30th and complete stay by October 2, 2020.
The Fine Print
- 7,500 Wyndham Rewards points are good for 1 standard bedroom per night at thousands of Participating Hotels, subject to availability. Most properties – Go Free award applies to room rate only, including taxes. Redemption levels for Go Free awards vary by Participating Hotel and can be as high as 30,000 points per night and resort fees (which are not payable with points) may apply. See the Program Terms for more information about how to redeem Wyndham Rewards points. Members who have elected to earn airline miles or rail points in their Member profile will earn base miles or rail points in accordance with the Program Terms and the Bonus in the form of points.
- Maximum of one (1) Bonus per Member, regardless of how many stays are completed by a Member during the Promotion Period.. A no-show does not count as an Offer Qualifying Stay.
- The Offer is exclusive to Wyndham Rewards Members. Wyndham Rewards, Inc. may cancel or modify the Offer without notice. The Offer is subject to full Program Terms in addition to these Offer Terms, and is void where prohibited.
Our Verdict
Wyndham is also offering 2,000 bonus points per stay at the moment and these offers stack. Remember that properties either cost 7,500, 15,000 or 30,000 points per night now.

not seeing how this stacks with the 2K offer, since that apparently expired end of July? Unless there's an updated version...
Not gonna lie, I'm a little tempted. Found the Travelodge in Texarkana, AR for $27+tax = $31.40/night.
Is it worth it? I just used 15k Wyndham pts to book an airport hotel in Bozeman with a hot tub in the room on a Sat night
will rewards night with pts count?
excellent question, and rather irritating (in spades) when bloggers (even the good ones like doc) proclaim these deals but then don't address that key question. (as it would require some work, as Wyndham no doubt likes to keep that info deeply muddies in the program T&C)
Short answer -- no.
Why? On the deal itself, we get the reference to "qualifying stay." So then we go to program T&C for an anything but clear explication of what the hell counts as a "qualifying stay"

(and I get a headache each time i try to wade through that for a clear answer -- in section #10, it's not there..... ah but wait, open up section #11.... and there we'll see that "non revenue generating stays" like Go Free & Go Fast paid for nights will not count. (even if other charges incurred during that night are over $25, etc., etc. etc.)
Wyndham's t&c's are obviously written by lawyers to use in court, not for plain language assistance to actual customers.
Thanks for deep analysis, Escot.
the offer is fairly blah... if a stay were for 1 nite, i may consider to find a low-priced motel to book
