Our Verdict
I assume this will stack with the other Wyndham deal?

So I did this promo and completed a 3-night stay in March. Got the 15K points plus “natural” points from the stay, but still have not rec’d the 5,000 extra points for being a card holder. Emailed them and got some boilerplate reply saying “Wyndham Rewards Earner® cardholders can earn additional points when they pay for their stays at participating hotels” – thanks, Captain Obvious!
I have heard reports that they are really bad about honoring the extra 5K. Anyone else?
I'm guessing this would not work when booking Vacasa rental with points?
Of course not. It says above that it needs to be a "qualifying stay", and if you look up "qualifying stay" on Wyndham's terms and conditions, you see that it specifically excludes all stays booked with points, even if you pay for something else like a resort fee.
Has anyone done these offers? I almost booked one until I saw there's a mandatory 2 hour sit down Doe those time shares presentation
Looks like a great deal! What is the catch? Is a devaluation coming?
A devaluation is always coming but don't worry: itsallgoodTM
It apart of the March Member Month they do once a year.
I believe the catch is you have to sit on a 2 hour timeshare thing
I don't see anything in the (ridiculous) fine print on their website about this promo being part of their vacation club properties. It just says "qualifying stays."
I just closed on my 2nd Wyndham timeshare. You are correct, this promo has nothing to do with that, the pitch comes with calls to customer service.
You need to work on your high-pressure-sales-pitch resistance strategies.
That’s what it was rumor for the end of February but nothing happened
They did change the redemption levels for some of their hotels (EX: Dolce Sitges Barcelona went from 15k to 30k), but didn't seem to make any other adjustments to the program and are still using the three-tiered 7500/15000/30000 pricing. Hard to know how many properties went up or down because Wyndham doesn't publish a comprehensive list with each hotel's redemption price.
