This is a great price. I’m tempted to trade in my kindle PW7 for $25 plus 20% off in addition to this $45 off, not sure if it can stack
But I’m not sure if the promo will end by the time of my trade in. Don’t want to be strangled with high price kindle PW after my trade in because I do need one.
ok instead of waiting for the trade-in discount i jumped on the deal. This upgrade is totally worth it for me with water resistance and audible via Bluetooth. Perfect timing with Audible membership via Amex Platinum
I think Walmart+ Is valuable, they let you do the scan and go without having to go through regular check out, like sams club.

Paperwhite for $40 is a great deal but instead I got "Prime Students Deals Save $45 on Kindle Paperwhite and Oasis with promo code KINDLE45". Not quite as good as total with Tax is about $80.

I'd rather take a kobo with a much larger screen. They even have a 10 inch one (with stylus for notes taking) that is suitable for pdf now. While Amazon abandoned their DX line and are selling 10 "different" kindles that are basically the same made in China crap.
Amazon seems to be trying to fight on more fronts than they can properly manage nowadays. This might not end well.
