  • Some people are being offered a sign up bonus of $500 after $5,000 in spend on  the American Express Blue Business Cash card.

This offer probably has the lifetime language which will make it only useful for those who never got the card before. Update: apparently, this offer might be a no-lifetime-language offer which works for anyone. Let us know if you try.

  • Card earns 2% cash back on all purchases for the first $50,000 in spend every year, then 1% cash back on all purchases
  • No annual fee
  • 0% introductory APR on purchases and balance transfers for 12 months

Our Verdict

We just posted about a YMMV $750 offer, yet this $500 offer is worth highlighting due to the lower spend requirement of $5,000. We’ve never seen a $500 offer on this card with such a low spend requirement. Some people might prefer taking $250 less and not having to spend the $15,000 from the other offer. Also useful for someone who can’t get the offer offer to pull up.

While on the the phone with 855-531-3491, you can ask them for the Business Platinum 250,000 offer and the Business Gold 190,000 offer.

  • not eligible for bonus or intro APR. Guess lifetime language still applies if you call in to get the offer.

  • Called in and they said that if your SSN (doesn't matter which biz) has had this card before it's not eligible.

  • Just called the number and was approved for the $500/$5000 offer as outlined. This is my first AmEx business card and third AmEx card overall. Thanks!

    • Same here. Instant approval with every bureau frozen. Mine definitely had the life-time language, which was fine by me because this is my first biz Amex.

  • This offer still came up no issues for me when calling in. Did mention the lifetime language on the call. They emailed me the application no issues. Also mentioned there was a huge Business Platinum offer available to me, which I'm not going for at the moment, but presumably it's the 250k offer mentioned on the site. Unfortunately, got a pop up, so no luck for me on this one.

        Open it up using incognito. Then, you can use the comparison tool to see offers from various cards. The offer changes occasionally. Just open up another window and try again until you find some satisfied offer.

  • Had a mail offer of $250 + $250 cash back for $5k +$10k spend. 0% apr for first 12 months. Didn't see lifetime language.

    • After submitting got the popup, even though I've never had the Blue Business Cash before. Lame.
