Bank of America recently converted all Better Balance Rewards (BBR) cards to Unlimited Cash Rewards World Mastercard. There have been a few mentions of people seeing a bonus attached to the conversion showing in the app and even confirming with BofA reps about the bonus (1, 2):
- Spend $1,000 by 9/30/2023 and get $200 bonus. Promo start date 5/15/2023.
Not clear if this offer is available for everyone as some have been told that they don’t have such a bonus offer. YMMV, please let us know what you’re hearing/seeing.

Met my $1000 spend on roughly 9/25 and my statement closed today. Not seeing the $200 bonus yet.. anyone know how long it usually takes?
Should have posted the same time as your transaction that met the spend requirement did...were you targeted?

Just got the $200 bonus today
Just received an email from BofA that "Your bonus reward has been applied to your account" even though I received the $200 bonus 2.5 months ago after hitting spending requirement. Still no sign of the last $20 BBR bonus. BofA is so hopeless.
I received that email today too even though I already got the bonus in early July. I also got the email on another Unlimited Cash Rewards that I opened directly right before the BBR conversions, but I also already got the bonus for that one in mid-July. Weird.
I also haven't gotten the $20 bonus on either of my BBRs that were converted. I was reading in the comments on another post that they have until mid September per the original terms, so I'll keep waiting.

I have received the $200 bonus reward after hitting the $1000 spend. I originally got both the flyer and the app popup.

I had no offer on the app or paper insert. I spent $1000 anyway - now lets see if $200 credit posts. I am not sure how long we have to wait to see if it even posts.

I called 2 weeks ago and was told I had the spending bonus offer, but I just received the card and there was no spending bonus offer.
What the hell, BoA?
There is only one card in my household.
Try buying 2x $500 GC or pay $1k tax, then you'll know for sure. $20 vs $200. Definitely worth the risk :)
