This offer is now available via referral. Please do not share your referral links in the comments, or you will be blocked from making any future comments. I might make a dedicated page for referrals later, but at this stage I don’t actually think this offer will be that popular with people actually wanting to apply.

Our Verdict
At best this bonus is worth 105,000 points if you redeem all three nights at a property costing 35,000 points per night. The previous best offer on this card is 100,000 points, this offer is slightly better but you’re losing a lot of flexibility as well. Keep in mind Marriott also gives you the 5th night free when paying with points, so that makes this offer even less attractive in comparison. The standard offer on this card is 75,000 points, but I suspect we will see that 100,000 point bonus on a somewhat regular basis. Personally I don’t think this bonus is worth doing, but if you have a property in mind costing 35,000 points then it could make sense. This is the application link from the e-mail, but the sign up bonus isn’t mentioned (it is mentioned on this page).
Keep in mind all of restrictions on who is eligible for the bonus, the 5/24 rule applies to this card and you’re not eligible if you’ve had this card previously or a number of other SPG cards as well. We won’t be adding this bonus to our list of the best credit card bonuses. As always if you have any questions, read this post about Chase credit cards first.

I have a question.. with a Marriott 35k night certificate, can I supplement with points and book a 50k night ..say at a Ritz-Carlton? Thanks
No. But i read somewhere that they will add that feature at aome point.
So many restrictions. My Spouse is 4/24 and never had this card but has an SPG Business card so its a no go...
so if i have the spg personal card and received the spg bonus 3 months ago, cancel and wait 30 days to apply for the marriott card then i can get the bonus? it doesnt state the 24 mo bonus restriction for the spg personal.
Does that Marriott right in the middle of Times Square go for 35000/night? At least at some times of the year?
I failed for all 3 reasons plus 5/24.
Wow so many restrictions. If you do qualify after all the restrictions and are under 5/24 you have to be very naive to apply for this card.
By the way, thanks again Doc for the heads up on the Luxury card as we were able to sneak out those points etc before the restriction period.
I don't quite get this restriction, assuming your last sign-up bonus posted 24+ months ago:
"The bonus is not available to you if you:
(1) are a current cardmember, or were a previous cardmember within the last 30 days, of The Starwood Preferred Guest® Credit Card from American Express"
SPG and Marriott merged so you can only have one of each set. Either SPG or Marriott. So if you signed up for it 2 years ago and canceled you would need to wait a month for it to be closed on your report before they could give you another.
I know they merged. The bonus (as well as the 15 nights/yr credited toward elite status) is now supposedly controlled directly by Marriott, as they're able to tell if you've received a bonus within the past 24 months for either card.
What do they care if you have both SPG and Marriott cards (and pay AF's on BOTH), so long as you only get 1 sign-up bonus every 24 months?
That's what I don't quite get.
It's part of the contract they signed with Chase/AmEx I guess.
Good point, let me sticky this comment
