Sold out at Gaithersburg MD. That was fast
Costco negative reviews highlight overheating/shutdown, poor battery life, water ingress.

Chances are this is OOS (out of stock) in your area, if you want it and it's in stock, buy it.

Generally these prices mean it isn't selling well and is on clearance in store. It won't be restocked and you can't order online (except perhaps through instacart etc)
Go Pro 12 is out. Doesn’t mean the 11 isn’t selling well.
13 in a few days. Meaning the 11 is two years old (and also has some overheating issues). Doesn't matter my local Costco did not have it despite saying in stock.
Just trying to fix your mistake in saying it’s on clearance because it isn’t selling well. Very misleading to people who don't know why it’s on clearance.
Imagine being a sucker who invests in GPRO. GoPro in general is selling poorly and not doing well, the product category is becoming a commodity fast and (economic) rents are going to zero

The clearance sales are not advertised by Costco, but in an instance like this it was obvious they were clearing out the model 11s nationwide with the 13 releasing in a few days. Someone noticed the price in store and posted it to Slickdeals (or somewhere similar, idk who posted it first).
One of their main competitors, the Insta 360 x3 is also on clearance at Costco for about the same price. But from what I can gather from SD and the inventory on the app it seems like both of these were much more likely to be carried by west coast locations. Regardless most stores are probably out by now since the deals have been posted to several prominent sites for 48h or more.
