[Expired] Get Up To $40 Off A Fire Tablet When You Purchase With American Express Points ($14.99 For Fire 7 & $24.99 For Fire HD 8) – Available To Everybody

Amex Pay With Points deal is still working, but the tablets themselves are no longer discounted.

Update: Even if the direct link doesn’t work you should still be able to get the promotion by just adding the promotional code and paying with at least one American Express point. You can also do each deal multiple times/purchase multiple tablets.

Update: Fire tablets are also on sale now making this deal even better. Get an extra $15 off Fire 7 and $25 off Fire 8. Prime only. Kids ones aren’t on sale

Our Verdict

According to the searches I did on camelcamelcamel this makes all the tablets $10 cheaper than they have ever been (now an additional $15-$25 cheaper with the prime discount for a total of $25-$35 cheaper). As always you’ll want to stack this with other discounts on Amazon, we keep a full list of everything available here. You might also be able to get an additional 5% off by going through Ibotta. You can also stack this to get some free Vitamins & Snacks (seems to be working even if you’ve used them before).

    • Can you explain why you think there's no resell opportunity? Just because so many people will be picking up so many of these to resell? I'm on the fence about buying extra to resell.

  • Thanks so much, it worked for me!

I used the snack and vitamin promos a couple of weeks back and I was able to use them again also - thanks for the heads-up on that as well!

  • DoC, got 3 of 8HDs (for myself and friends who has no Amex MR account)... all 3 with your link. Glad to help, and thank you for your great blog!

    • ... and BTW. I had some promotional credit on my account for $26.xx... so apparently the way it works the $30 discount applies to the promotional credit (it did not work for me on the final check out page, but worked on the page where I had to select different payment options)

So, since it applied its own $30, and my pre-existing $24.99 of promotional credit the 1st tab came down to $0.00. No taxes, and no $5 California Regulartory fee either... because the item price came down to zero before taxes...funny. On the other 2 I had to pay both taxes and the fees.
