Our Verdict

Some nice promotions here to take advantage of. I rarely say this but the free night certificate deals are actually good enough that I’d consider rebooking existing travel to make work.

  • I just earned a free Category 1 - 4 certificate after completing a 4 night award stay but despite no mention in the terms and conditions I see that the certificate is only good for 6 months instead of the standard 1 year time frame for the certificate that comes after paying the annual fee on my Chase credit card. Might call Hyatt and inquire why it was not mentioned in the terms and conditions and ask if they can extend it so that it is valid for a full year.

  • IM a discoverist,
received the EARN A FREE NIGHT IN A CATEGORY 1-4 WITH A QUALIFYING 2 NIGHT STAY. which works perfect since i have a 3 night stay booked for next month. (received via e-mail)

  • got 2x pts on 3+ night stays between now and March. I do have one stay coming up that qualifies so I guess that's nice. Overall nothing too exciting...

  • I got one of the free night with 3 night stay - I have a stay coming up where I had to book 2 nights and then 1 night (all back to back) - do you think this will qualify? I had to book that way due to award availability

  • Jack shit as a discoverist who frequently stays at Hyatts (albeit on mostly points redemptions)

  • Explorist who hasn't had a Hyatt stay since Nov. 2019 - not targeted for any. Seems like they would want to encourage me.

  • Did not qualify for any of the offers, but received this via email and registered for it - "3,000 Bonus Points for every two (2) Eligible Nights at Hyatt hotels and resorts worldwide, for a total of 15,000 Bonus Points."
