Avoiding Fees
Monthly Fees
This account has a $3 monthly fee, this is waived with a direct deposit of $400+ and $100 in debit card purchases.
Early Account Termination Fee
I wasn’t able to find the full fee schedule so I’m unsure if there is an early account termination fee or not.
Our Verdict
10,000 MyPoints are worth roughly $67. Long Game looks to gamify banking by offering coins for completing savings goals and missions. Coins can then be used to play games and enter weekly drawings. Don’t think it’s really profitable to use long term, but the bonus is easy to meet the requirements for. Personally I never do bank bonuses unless they are $100+ so I won’t be adding this to the best bank bonuses.

Long Game bought by Truist. Hmm https://ir.truist.com/2022-05-03-Truist-acquires-mobile-savings-gamification-pioneer-Long-Game
FYI Long Game is now supported by Varo Bank
I reached out to MP and LG and did not get my points (ironic) so I will be filing for arbitration (JAMS).
05/25/2020 Opened and funded with $8.04
05/31/2020 - 06/14/2020 won $0.84 playing the stupid games
06/02/2020 "spent" $0.01 using the debit card through PayPal 2X for a total cost of $0.04 after fees
07/03/2020 10000 MP posted to the account which are redeemable at $0.0066666 each ≈ $67
The $3 monthly charge seems to have been taken out of my account though no transaction is reported for it. I will be pulling the funds out of the account and closing it immediately afterwards. I'm looking at a profit of $64.46 on this one.
Elements trial deposits are considered direct deposit per the classification in the app.
Confirmed that a transfer from Elements counts as direct deposit
You don't get cheese with this 'whine'. My points wanted to verify my e-mail buy sending a text message. They say the # is already in use.??? Not by me. They would send a pin to my physical address. It's another person's address.??? Customer service? No 800# to talk to a human.
I did the deal for 5000 SB and after having initial trouble activating the card through the app got it going, then received the email saying bucks were pending for 2 weeks. I still did a couple amazon reloads just in case. Played some games won some change dont think you ever really win, sadly I think this app can drain some people's bank account that have control issues, not sure how the games stink and it's pretty obvious....
Anyways bucks paid out, cancelled account through settings on the app - was scheduled to be charged $3 on the 25th so hopefully I avoided that we'll see. Transferred balance back to funding bank before cancelling.
@will Monthly fee waiver requires direct deposit of $400 monthly AND using card $100 or more each month.
I did this for the 5000 points and it doesn't even show that after I activated my debit card, will be filing a complaint against swagbucks for the 3 signups with no payouts. They are scammers
I don't have any mypoints posted or pending. Signed up, funded, activated, and even did a real DD! Just filled out a support ticket. We'll see. Not too happy about this...
