10 additional escape lounges are being added to Priority Pass. The following lounges are now accessible:
- Bradley International Airport (BDL)
- John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH)
- Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG)
- Greenville–Spartanburg International Airport (GSP)
- Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP)
- Oakland International Airport (OAK)
- Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) – T3
- Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport (PVD)
- Sacramento International Airport (SMF) – Terminal A
- Sacramento International Airport (SMF) – Terminal B
Visits are capped at three hours but always nice to see more lounge options being added for Priority Pass holders.
Hat tip to OMaaT
Not holding my breath for Priority Pass lounges, Capital One lounges, or Chase Sapphire lounges coming to TPA any time soon.
Nice to see PVD gaining a Priority Pass lounge for the low cost carrier flights out of Boston area.
And Priority Pass just removed their only TPA restaurant with no notice and has been continuing to advertise it on their website.
William Charles
Would you consider posting about TPA restaurant removal to your website so that others may be prevented from experiencing similar issues?
” I arrived early at the TPA airport today with my guest/ companion and was unable to use my priority pass at the Cafe by Mise restaurant because they no longer accept PP as of July 1 2024. The restaurant is still listed on the priority pass website.
My party was left hungary at the airport. Customer service rep on phone was not able to provide an alternative to or other option to accommodate today’s issue. “
PVD is a great small airport and never crowded. This is a great addition for us. At Logan, the Chase lounge is fantastic…now we have an option at our other go-to airport.
PVD is good for Bostonians who want to take low-cost domestic airlines such as Breeze, Allegiant, Sky High Dominicana, Sun Country Airlines, and SouthWest Airlines.
PHX finally gets *something*. Even a closet is better than nothing. Fifth largest city?
So in other words, ten more PP lounges that it will be almost impossible to get into.
It should have been possible for someone to get into it.
I did say “almost impossible”. Maybe I should have said “difficult”
I was at the OAK Escape lounge on Thursday and it was an absolute zoo.
This is such a stupid decision, I can’t imagine the lines at the OAK location with PP access being added.
One of the reasons I prefer to fly out of SF unless I’m pressed for time even though Oakland airport is slightly closer. Can still use Priority Pass at several different restaurant options.
Do you have PP via a credit card? If so, which one? I’m with Chase and unfortunately they’re removing the PP restaurants from the CSR effective July 1. Although SFO is getting their own Club Lounge. With all these changes, I welcome that and this OAK Escape lounge additions.
I use BOA elite. But not sure how cost effective it is beyond initial signup bonus.
At MSP before the new Delta lounge opened, I used to visit escape and then go to Delta. Now will have to skip the escape all together as it will be more crowded.
So you’re reducing crowding, that’s good.
My brain read this as “escape rooms”, and I got very confused for a second.
I mean wouldn’t escape rooms be a great addition to airports in general?
Not if you miss your flight because you can’t figure out how to get out.
All part of the fun
I missed a flight from the new terminal A in EWR the week it opened because there were no signs how to get to the parking lot and I couldn’t figure it out fast enough 😂
This is bad news for me at Cmh- I get in with amex plat but there are 000s of chase employees here with sapphire reserve that will now flood 😐
Already seeing reports of overcrowding.
Right when the Hilton Surpass PP benefit ends this month.
I thought Surpass passes were good until the end of this year? Mine do not say theyre expiring.
I think I misremembered the email from Hilton/Amex from Sept of last year. Was charged the new higher $150 AF this March, but looks like my PP benefit is good till October 31, 2024.
If you hurry to enroll, you’ll have at least until the end of 2024. Mine is good until March of 2025 on that card, which I actually use now since my new PP with restaurants only allows four visits per year.
I misremembered the above date, it’s actually good through Oct 2024. I don’t see an option to enroll for PP anymore. I believe they removed the benefit entirely?
