When you cancel Sportsline, it only extends to December 2023 now.

Mine is only good till 11-16-2023 :X,

They offered to extend to December, but you cant cancel and have to cancel again.

As sportsline appears to be CBS owned, I would proceed very cautiously and take screenshots of any offers and billing dates.

I warned folks recently about being billed a month sooner than the billing date shown in my Paramount Plus account. (Note I am referring to Paramount Plus trial directly through them and their cancellation offers.)

(For reference Paramount Plus offered “two free months” when I went to cancel. My billing date was pushed out two months, for a total of 3 months. I was charged 2 months later which was a month before the billing date shown in my account.)

I got a bunch of replies along the lines of “This was your fault . Everybody knows you can’t cancel right away.” Although they didn’t link any past data points and I couldn’t find them myself when looking.

I have a feeling their backend is a hot mess. I canceled Paramount+ after using one of the free codes back in April. I didn’t go to re-signup with another code right away. It’s August and I still have full access to Paramount+. No, I haven’t been charged; online it is blank under what plan I have.

The exact same thing happened to me. Mine showed a bill date in October, instead I was charged in August. Should’ve known to take a screenshot. They told me they wouldn’t refund; however, when I said I would initiate a CC dispute they backtracked immediately.

I just did this and it appeared to work. I attempted to cancel sportsline first, then extended it to 7 months, then linked to paramount+. When I signed up on the sportsline page, it said a free 30 day trial to Paramount+. But now my Paramount+ says I signed up on Sportsline, so hopefully the full 7 months is free. Perfect timing for SEC football! Thanks DOC!  William Charles

I did it after canceling Sportsline. Getting the extension. Then linked.
