Our Verdict
Nice to be able to get 10% off on Amazon. There’s probably lots of other gift cards available, we don’t know which ones.
Since the Racetrac store is attached to a gas station, it’s likely that the transaction will code as gas. Be sure to use a credit card which earns a high rate of rewards at a gas station.

Also, forgot to mention, the $5 off signage is pretty generic and just states $5 off select $50 gift cards. No mention of specific GCs included in the promo.
Just been to a store, there is no indication of limit or when the promotion ends. It does say in small print “May 2015”, not sure what to make of it though. This promotion appears to be primarily targeted towards home improvement/department store gift cards, as the $5 off signage was put up on top of the rack containing Home Depot, Lowes and Sears gift cards. $50 Amazon GC did work, which was probably mistakenly included in this promo.
