The Offer
PFSBuyersclub (referral link)
PFSBuyersclub has a resell deal which can rack up almost $1,400 in spend, plus a $50 profit:
- On Thursday, September 6th at 12:00pm ET, the US Mint will release a limited edition coin.
- The purchase is limited to one (1) coin per household.
- The cost of the coins is roughly $1,400 including shipping, and you’ll be reimbursed an extra $50 on top of that.
- Signup for a PFS account and then opt in for the deal to lock yourself in. Be sure you’ll be available to make the purchase at noon on Thursday.
- You can see more details here.
PFSbuyers club is a private club who offers small resell opportunities on items which have quantity limits. Since each person/household can only buy one or a few of the items, you ‘opt in’ with PFS to buy the item which locks you in for the purchase (meaning, you are committing yourself to buy and they are committing to buy it off you when you follow the instructions), you get the item in the mail at your home, and then you ship it to PFS with a prepaid shipping label.
Most of their deals are for coins from the U.S. Mint. Certain limited edition coins are released at designated times, and can apparently be resold for more. You can try finding the deals yourself and then try reselling them yourself somehow, but most people find it easier to simply get all the instructions and be completely locked in on the deal.
The Fine Print
- Payment will be sent via Check or PayPal within 7 business days of the coin being delivered to a PFS Buyers Club.
- Only a limited number of people will be approved for this offer, so opt in quickly if you are interested.
- Must opt-in in advance before doing the deal. You’ll see the Opt In button in your PFS account if there are still spots available.
- Be sure you’ll be available to make the purchase at noon on Thursday before opting in for the deal.
- You’ll get exact details about the deal when you signup for PFS and opt in for this deal.
Our Verdict
They send out offers from time to time; often the deals are lower spend amounts and lower profit – this one is quite good at $50 profit plus a high amount of spend. The spend will hopefully be considered normal/organic and will be pleasing even to the Amex gods. (Update: Readers say not to use U.S. Bank cards or the Elan/Fidelity card since they don’t earn points or meet spend requirements. Amex and other cards should work find.)
There’s always some amount of risk when dealing with any company. Hundreds of people have successfully got paid out from PFS for a long time. I’ve been a member with PFS for over two years, though I’ve never actually completed a deal since it requires being at the ready exactly when the coin gets released (I almost got in on one but missed out by a few minutes, other times I simply haven’t been available at the requisite time so I didn’t even opt in).
We have no affiliation with PFS. They do have a referral program, and we’ll get $20 if you sign up for a PFS account using our referral link, above. Thanks.
Another deal just came out for tomorrow.
Thursday, December 10th – at 12:00PM ET the US Mint will be releasing a Limited Edition 2020 Silver Proof Set with a limit of two sets per household.
The cost of each set is $201.00. After including the $4.95 shipping charge, each Order of two sets will total $406.95.
We will pay you $430.00 for the sets – for a profit of $23.05 per order.
You will have each order shipped to your own house or office and then ship it to PFS Buyers Club with a prepaid shipping label that we will provide for you.
This is also a great opportunity to earn valuable points/miles on your credit cards, as well as meet any spending thresholds.

Which is quicker, buying it on your home computer or on your mobile phone? Last time I had no luck buying it on my computer as US Mint site was timing out 🙁
Another one for the V75 gold or silver coins on 11/5. I passed on the last one as not working on any MSR and not worth the hassle/risk for $50 but I’ll probably try to do both of these.
“PFS will pay you $150.00 for each V75 Silver order – for a profit of $62.05 per order.
PFS will be offering a commission of $525.05 for each V75 Gold order.”
Shoe drop email? Anyone else receive PFS offer on latest shoe drop?
I received it. ~$50 gain for a few minutes of work. 10% cash back from retailmenot.com if you can order from nike.com instead of the app.
There is a new $50 offer on a roughly $3k palladium coin. Log in to your PFS account if you have one and didn’t receive the email.
Got this too. Doc said they won’t post any more of these though due to so many people not honoring their PFS deals last time.
We will post a general deal post on it probably without mentioning any specific buyers.
$50 seems a little low for $3k float.
Are there any other offers going around?
You don’t really have to float anything. You will get paid before your credit card payment is due. They pay through Paypal, and very quickly as I recall.
Yeah, got the email too. Still, you have to trust UPS/FedEx not to screw up twice, trust the PFS dude (no complaints so far) just to get $50 for a $3000 float. Hmm. I do have a min spend to meet and I might just buy the coin for myself depending on the ebay market.
This deal has returned with $100 profit on a limited edition coin
Question about PFS’s newest coin offer last week. What is the purpose of not being allowed to open the shipping box when it arrives? Doesn’t make sense to me.
fraudsters
For whoever joined the deal and buy the coins…Please don’t send the coins to PFS Buyersclub. I just have mine send over to them this week. It’s a total scam. I received the box directly from US Mint. . I didn’t open the box as per instruction and taped the box with Fedex shipping slip and sent it out this week. The box just delivered yesterday and I checked this afternoon, the credit is not applied to my account. I wrote the email to PFS Buyersclub. the guy named Aron replied saying my box arrived without coin in it. I can’t believe it… instead of making $50, I end up loss the coin. i wasn’t even informed until i wrote email to ask for update. Now, when i log on my account, my order has been totally erased from my account. Please think twice about the risk before sending the coins…
As with anything i guess there are risks, i did message them about the current deal and they said they do provide insurance with their prepaid labels
I wonder why they did not file a claim
I just saw there’s no address or contact info at all for pfsbuyers club on their contract. The heck, what kind of business operates with no address or contact info on a contract? This is shady, what’s preventing them from saying it’s an empty box leaving you with no recourse like what this person experienced? You have no proof since you’re not supposed to open the box.
So I sold the coin on eBay after reading these comments, but the PFS guy has been sending aggressive long emails since I never sent the coin to them. Did anyone else get that?
Yea I received the same long emails. He’s very aggressive but I sold my coin already. Wonder how he’s going to charge me the “$500” fine.
Same here. Delete and Ignore..
Thanks Doc! Did this to hit a minimum spend. I received my coin yesterday. Decided to call a few coin buyers in my area before I mailed my coin to FPS and one offered me $2,000. Made a cool $600 cash instead of $50 and met my minimum spend! 🤙
