- Spirit Airlines is offering 500 miles when you join their dining program and complete your profile. You will earn an additional 1,000 miles when you dine and spend at least $30 and leave a post dine review.
The Fine Print
- Dine of $30+ must be completed within 30 days of account opening to receive 1,000 bonus miles
- $30 requirement is inclusive of tax and tip
- Must not currently have a Spirit dine profile
- Review must be completed within 30 days of the dine
- Allow 4 weeks for the miles to post
Our Verdict
Spirit miles expiry if you go 90 days without any activity, the easiest way to keep them from expiring is from promotions like this or by having the Spirit credit card (they offer a Business version as well). The personal version comes with a 15,000 mile + $100 statement credit bonus currently. The main advantage of the credit card is that region 1 flights cost only 2,500 miles off peak which is an incredible deal, even if Spirit isn’t the best airline out there.
They also regularly offer free miles, which is an easy way to get enough miles for these flights, for example:
- 1,500 Free Spirit Miles For Completing Three Short Quizzes (still valid)
- 8,000 free miles for complaining about spirit or any other airline (no longer valid)
I don’t think it’s worth doing the $30 spend requirement, but if you need to extend miles or need an extra 500 then this is an easy way to get them. Keep in mind if you register your credit card with Rewards Network, it won’t work with Earn by Microsoft.
