Does anyone know if buying gift cards from giftcards.kroger.com will code as a grocery purchase?

Can the VGCs from Kroger (usbank it looks like) be used for serve loads?
I’m in my first year with Discover IT ($10 cash back on groceries this quarter), so this should work nicely for me.

bought 4 visa 100 gift card (fixed value) and got 1600 point today, loaded them up to my green serve at family dollar for free after about 1 hour. 1st FD new cashier said cash(per policy) only even though i loaded many time there with pleasant experiences, said thanks and went another FD 5 miles away and loaded them on my 2 serve cards without any issue. with loading serve, its always YMMV.

I don’t see where it excludes variables from the other offer (not the 25,50,100)

Can this coupon be used to buy more than one gift card in one transaction? The Ralph’s coupon states “when you buy a participating gift card”. No mention of multiple items in one transaction like the other coupons.

Multiple gift cards are fine, done it many times.

Ugh, curse my 15 gal Ford Fusion tank! But seriously, I’ll usually scoop up 4,000 fuel points, which’ll be 4x 15 gal fillups, so save $60, at cost of $50~ (sell Amazon at 95%). Good enough I s’pose

Dave, may I ask where you sell Amazon GCs? I sell various GCs on Raise, but their commission is 15%.

You should invest in a few 6-gallon gas cans if you have a place to store them. I have 4 6-gallon gas cans and I am able to max out 35 gallons when I go in my Chrysler 200. This allows me to visit the gas station once a month.

I do the same thing with 5×5 gallon cans and my Mazda 3. Savings paid for the gas cans in 2 months.

Anyone know if I can bring my car and my wife’s car and switch before stopping the pumping?

I do it all the time. Just be swift about it. The pump has never shutoff on me while swapping cars, but I’m usually moving fast just in case.

Glad I’m not the only one. And I bring gas cans. We have smaller cars and this gets us in the 30-35 gallon range

Love Kroger and the 4x fuel points. Filled up with 35 gallons in Coeur d’Alene last week for a little over $41.00. Used the 10% off at Kroger coupon yesterday and saved $26.

What did you buy $260 worth… store gift cards?

The gift card didn’t earn points but the rib eyes, BOGO ribs, sodas, laundry detergent, cheese, etc. did. I’d never seen a 10% Kroger discount before and wanted to make it count. Almost everything I bought was on sale, mostly BOGO and multiples of 6. Total coupon savings on the receipt was $107.26 + 223 fuel points.

Is there any benefits buying $100 considering we only receive 400 fuel points vs $5.95 fee or something like that?

If you have a 5% CC with the rebate you essentially buy 400 fuel points for $1. If you max out 35 gallons that earns $14.

If I were to do this I would pay something that doesn’t get larger rebate elsewhere (for me childcare). There are also occasionally coupons that offset some of the fees .

Another I’ve learned is to buy the visa GC, get 400 FP on that, then use that to buy other gift cards and get 400 more.

Was a lot easier when they sold Shell gas.

400 fuel points gets you 40 cents off. If you can get all 35 gallons, that’s $14 plus $2-6 in cashback.

Welcome news indeed, though the headline “all gift cards” had me hoping for a second that the 4x on even variable load vgc’s had at last returned. Alas, they’re excluded, as per usual, via the fine print (as you include) . Still, thanks for the advance alert.

Without some inadvertent glitch or a large shift in the MS landscape, I’m sure they will always be excluded.
