Our Verdict
Deal didn’t work for me, but I did the recent planet fitness deal so not sure if that is why. Definitely worth trying. Keep in mind after the 60 day free trial you will be automatically charged $14.95 a month so remember to cancel before then. I strongly recommend doing this deal, I’d suggest trying to do it sooner rather than later as last time the deal died real quickly.

I just contacted Audible re the Two Months Free & $10 Amazon.com Credit and they gave me a $10 promo code to use on the Amazon website. They asked if I had signed up thru the Planet Fitness or AARP offer and I told them AARP.
If you would have said “Planet Fitness” you would have gotten $15
I managed to get a $10 GC for four Amazon accounts. None came automatically, had to contact support each time. One useful thing to know is that they may not honor the promo for newer Amazon accounts or accounts that have never had a purchase transaction. Rep told me account must have been opened prior to March 31, 2018 and must have had at least one transaction of at least $1. I know it doesn’t mention this in the terms, but it seems to be a guideline that is being enforced on their end.

Signed up 2-5-19 and no $10 GC as of today. So this looks like a failed promo.
Not only have I not gotten the credit, but apparently I’ll be charged after 1 month of trial instead of 2 (“Your next bill date is: 03-13-19”).
This hasn’t worked out well at all…
Update: I did a chat with customer support and got the credit applied and the 2nd month free membership.
I chatted with Audible and nothing happened. They had all sorts of bizarre rules like needing an active Amazon account (which I have) and then said they’ll open an investigation. Not worth the time and don’t expect anything.
Three weeks passed with no credit, so I chatted with Audible support and they created a case and escalated it. They determined I was eligible per the terms, and sent me $10 Amazon GC. They didn’t question my NSLS membership.

Didn’t get it yet, subscribed 2/7. Someone in a previous comment mentioned a timeframe of 2 weeks, so I’ll keep checking my account and hope for the best.
Still no credit, I check periodically by adding a sold & shipped by Amazon item to my card and doing a mock checkout. I have Prime and have never tried Audible before.
