Last year it was announced that Hyatt was acquiring Two Roads Hospitality for $480 million. This includes the following brands: Vivre Hotels, Thompson Hotels, Destination Hotels, tommie (this brand hasn’t actually launched yet) and Alila Hotels & Resorts.
Earlier this year the majority of the Thompson hotels were added to the Hyatt program with the major exception being Thompson Playa del Carmen & Thompson Beach House in Mexico. Those hotels have now joined World of Hyatt. In addition 14 Joie de Vivre Hotels have been added. Please note these won’t be bookable until tomorrow (May 15th).
