[Expired] American Express Gold Card Available Again in Limited-Edition Rose Gold [from 6/6-7/17]

The American Express Gold card now has the limited-edition Rose Gold version available from June 6 through July 17.

The press release only mentions it being available via referrals. There has been some information given out by an Amex rep that it would be available when upgrading, downgrading, or product changing to the Rose Gold version as well. A reader today was able to get their existing Gold card switched over to the Rose Gold as well. It doesn’t look like it’s available for initial signup in rose gold unless you signup via referral.

All in, there are three bits of news today on the Gold card:

Addition of Boxed.com for $10 dining credit.
Amex also added back the option – for a limited time – to get the Gold card in Rose Gold.
Expansion of 4x Dining category from U.S. to being available worldwide.

Unfortunately everyone is getting 40k after 2k spend even after multiple tries :/, I tried and I was getting the same 40k offer. Any tricks other than trying repeatedly in incognito?

Got it ordered through chat just now. Their disclosure said it can’t be expedited due to the large volume of requests they are expecting. No big deal, though.
