[Update: Added two Rhode Island branches below. Reposted.]
In March, Chase announced a 5 year expansion on physical branches in various areas of the US where they don’t currently have a footprint. They’ve now sent out grand opening notices for three locations in the MSP, Twin Cities (MN) area, and two locations in Providence (RI).
- The Minneapolis branch will be located at 606 Washington Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414. This one is already open.
- The St. Paul branch will be located at 1039 Grand Ave, Saint Paul, MN 55105. Exact opening date unknown.
- The St. Louis Park branch will be located at 5530 Cedar Lake Rd. Ste. 600, St. Louis Park, MN 555416. Exact opening date unknown.
- Providence branch at 234 Thayer St, Providence, RI 01216
- Downtown Providence branch at 146 Westminster St, Providence, RI 02903
This is great for those who want to bank with Chase and to take advantage of their checking and savings bonuses. Some are even available online but only to those within their footprint. Useful also for getting targeted credit card or increased branch offers which come occasionally.
Hat tip to ayy_crabman and VoxBoz
Finally! Not flyover country to Chase any more!!!
They still need to get into St Louis and Charlotte – probably never on the latter as BoA and Wells have that town locked up like Fort Knox.
Nice for us in Providence, but I may miss the four-hour (roundtrip)
to New Haven Ct for new account promotion signups 🙂
Some free cookies would be nice.
Chase is also continuing to add branches in Washington DC. Last month they announced a new branch near Tenley Circle. This will be the first Chase branch west of Rock Creek Park.
We recently got a branch here in Charlottesville, VA.
Drove past a Chase – Coming Soon sign at the closed Burger King on Daniel Webster Highway in Nashua, NH

What’s the problem with churners? The biggest churners are not the public, but the banks! They practice fractional reserve banking and lend people money they don’t have! A mere book-keeping entry allows them to print new currencies out of thin air, in an instant! Look up the book “The Creature from Jekyll Island”. If you think the public churners are a concern ($600 per person), you haven’t quite seen the multi-billion laundering that banks ARE LEGALLY ENTITLED to!
Sweet! Now I can sign up for the checking/savings bonus and have them promptly close all my Chase CCs like the rest of the country!
Oh my god…!
I am going to miss the drives to Steven’s Point to open accounts.
