These slots became available because of Southwest exiting Newark. Some good deals to be had.
This is cool. Can’t wait for the second set of deals to come out so I can get some cheap flights to NYC. Unfortunately, this round doesn’t have the deals at my home airport
I love this line “Frontier’s flights from Newark will operate entirely outside the delay prone afternoon hours”.
Meaning, at 5:00 AM when no one wants to fly!
Lots of people want to fly at 5am
especially when going west
I am sure there are people, I don’t know if I would call it lots. There is a reason why the flights at 5 or 6 AM are almost always the cheapest flight of the day. For a 6AM flight out of Newark, most people would be leaving their house at around 3:45 AM! Even my mother who wakes up at 4 AM every morning won’t fly at those times.
Leisure travelers might not, but others will take whatever flight they have to for work.
