Our Verdict
We’ve seen this offer before, there was also a 75,000 point + $100 offer that some people might prefer but that is really personal preference. In terms of straight points this is the highest we’ve seen and I doubt we will see higher in the short/medium term. Keep in mind you’re not eligible for this bonus if you’ve had or have this product. As always if you have any questions, read this post first as they are probably answered there. American Express doesn’t match sign up bonuses if you’ve recently applied, but they sometimes offer courtesy points.

received a targeted mail for 100K for 1K, but the whole the fine print is on a wallet size paper, which seems like AMEX is challenging people’s reading capability. does anyone know where or what’s the life time language on this if it’s in the fine print?
DP: it seems that AMEX rarely target people (or just me) with 2 or more AMEX not co-branded cards through mail. I cancelled my all but 1 AMEX cards few months back and had started receiving targeted mailer from AMEX. last time I receive AMEX targeted mailer was more than 4 years ago before I applied and got approved the second AMEX card. on the other hand, these could be AMEX covid-19 marketing as well
My referral is showing 95k/$1k via incognito
I just got this offer in the mail. I pity the fool that receives it and doesn’t know to vet it at the DOC.
Applied via incognito for 100k/1k offer. Approved with $5,000 CL. I’ve had the gold card for almost a year to the day now and this is my second card with Amex. I should not see a H.P. on my credit report correct? I couldn’t find any information if they soft pull even if you apply through incognito so I guess they don’t hard pull if they have your SSN in the system already.

Currently 2/24 and once I hit 5/24 I won’t be under until 10/21. With the current state of chase biz approvals should I use a slot for this offer? I could see myself maybe using slots for Hyatt and United but not sure what else. My 2/24 was already the 100K plat.
With all the uncertainty over Hotel reopenings, would you guys recommend to get a Hotel credit Card at this time?
Depends on your situation. At 30+/24 and not a ton of good offers out there that I’m eligible for right now, I’ll certainly take 100k HH to use at a later date for $1k spend and no AF.

95k HH with 20k MR referral from P2 is better.
Hell, even 75k + 10k MR referral is better – worst case, you transfer the 10k to 30k HH during a transfer bonus period.
I see posts mentioning pop up, have people who are not seeing a pop up held this HH card before ?
If so are you assuming no pop up means we can get the bonus for this HH card again even if we had this same card in the past ? Thanks
I was testing since Dec 2019 LOL. Only last night it went through without that popup. and no I did not hold HH card
