The Offer
- Hilton has launched a new points unlimited promotion that is valid on stays from January 6th until September 7th. You earn 2,000 points per stay and an additional 10,000 points for every 10 nights stayed
The Fine Print
- Offer valid for stays completed January 6 – May 3, 2020 (“Promotion Period”) at any hotel or resort within the Hilton Portfolio. Hilton Honors™ members must first register at HiltonHonors.com/PointsUnlimited prior to completing a stay within the Promotion Period.
- Registered Hilton Honors members checking in before January 6, 2020 will receive credit for their stay if the stay is completed on or after January 6, 2020 and prior to or on May 3, 2020.
- Registered Hilton Honors members will earn 2,000 Bonus Points per stay during the Promotion Period, as well as an additional 10,000 Bonus Points for every 10th night completed.
- There is no limit to the total amount of Bonus Points that may be earned during the Promotion Period with this offer.
- The 10,000 Bonus Points award can be earned an unlimited number of times.
- Each time a member achieves 10 nights, 10,000 Bonus Points will be awarded and the member’s night count will reset.
- Additional nights earned over the 10 night threshold in a stay will count towards achieving the member’s next 10,000 Bonus Point award.
Our Verdict
This is in addition to the points you’d normally earn. This is another promotion where I’ll definitely register but it won’t really have any affect on getting me to move Hilton bookings (even if I’m close to 10,000 points that’s only really worth $20-$40 to me). Hilton deals usually get better as other targeted promotions come along, most of the current ones expire at the end of December but I’m sure we will see some new offers come along soon.
I just stayed at Hilton twice
Noice, I was working to get that 10th night crammed in. Now I don’t have to feel as pressured. Plus this’ll let me pick up even more points. Just got back from a trip; got ’em lined up until late July–gotta make more plans now.

I have a 5 night stay in February so this should be a nice way to earn an extra 10k points. Not that Hilton points are incredibly valuable but 10k points for clicking a few buttons seems nice to me.

Members will not earn promotional miles during a Reward Stay (even if there are incidental charges applied to the room during this type of stay).
where are you seeing this? Firstly, Hilton Honors points are not called miles, so you’ve copied the wrong thing. Secondly, reward stays have counted for me on many, many occasions.
Similar but slightly less good compared to the promo from earlier this year. In 2019, you got the 10K points after 10 nights or 5 stays, now it is only after 10 nights.
Its a great promo for staying one night at a cheap hotel. For most other stays, the current one is much better (3x base points when paying with Hilton Amex).
