The Offer
- Hilton Grand Vacations (Hilton’s timeshare brand) is offering discount rates and points. As part of this deal you need to complete a two hour timeshare presentation and pitch. Deals are as follows (all included 25,000 Hilton points):
- Hilton Orlando (near SeaWorld® Orlando and Universal Orlando™) or Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista (near Disney Springs® and Epcot®).
- Hilton Grand Vacations on the Boulevard at the north end of the Strip or Tropicana Las Vegas — a DoubleTree by Hilton at the south end of the Strip.
Our Verdict
Sometimes they offer 4 nights and 100,000 points for $349. Other times we see deals for NYC/Hawaii. It’s also never a good idea to accept the initial offer, as you can usually get extras thrown in or the price reduced (best tactic seems to call in asking for more information and then saying your partner isn’t 100% convinced yet, I wouldn’t even accept their first counter offer). Remember that nobody goes into these timeshare presentations wanting to buy a timeshare and the people working there are usually fantastic sellers so make sure to educate yourself first and stick to your guns when saying no during the presentation itself. If you are easily convinced I’d honestly recommend just not doing these types of deals.

Found this on the link ‘Details of Participation’ —-“Our special preview packages are only available to persons whose combined gross annual income meet certain requirements.” Is there some kind of salary requirement to be eligible for these offers?
There usually is a very specific requirement which is also location dependent. Like the HI ones could require a higher one than the LV ones.
They’ll probably ask you for that but won’t be asking for any proof, similar to the question on a credit card application.

Center Strip is over-rated.
We like the Orleans for many reasons esp walking distance to a fabu dispensary.
This is horrible advice for anyone looking to go to Vegas. Center strip is key to the Vegas experience. If you go to Orleans your first time or two, you’re wasting a trip.
As a Vegas local, I completely agree with this. Orleans is disconnected from the strip. It’s one casino on its own. Whereas, staying on the strip has endless options of entertainment, food and shopping experience, and much more of what Vegas has to offer.
If this is your “fun” trip to Vegas try to stay on the strip and not Orleans.
For the record I received a targeted offer that also included Hilton head and myrtle beach for the same deal. So you maybe able to swap to one of those.
Last one I bought was the 4 nights and 100,000 points for $349, initially it was only 3 nights but upon calling it it was bumped up to 4nights/5 days. That being said, I got many of the 25K offers the last 18 months, that seems to be the new standard package they are offering.
Caution the Vegas promo here restricts you to just Tropicana (far-south end of the strip) and the Hilton Grand Vacations on the Blvd (far-north end of the strip). Neither are close to the center of the strip where all of the casinos and fun usually are. Ok if you have a car or don’t care about doing anything on the strip, but otherwise, this is pretty inconvenient. You can normally get these timeshare presentation purchases (same or similar offer) from Hilton with no property restrictions. Elara is by far the best Hilton Vacation Club property in Vegas since it’s in the center of the strip.
The Tropicana is not way out of the way it’s just south of the mgm. The hgvc at the north end I would say is way out of the way.
Is there a way to pick dates?
I was able to get a deal a few weeks ago for the Elara. They offered me Elara, Hilton Grand Vacations on the Blvd, or Trump Hotel (which I didn’t realize even had a connection to the Hilton brand).
Phone rep gave us the promo during HH issue call. Did this exact thing last weekend at LV Elara with the garage view studio. Wasted over 2 hours on the presentation part with not so happy ending. And they said they are gonna refund the difference and it would be 30 some for us at the end for 3 nights and got some random MAX $200 off rebate for one night at a Hilton hotel. Hopefully, we do not qualify for COVID as the whole package.
