This now seems to be extended through June (appears at same “direct link to offer” as before).

EDIT: oops, I guess this was already reflected in the post. New to me, as I was just checking my reminder to switch my Hulu back to Amex BCP (but will keep it on Sofi).

Anyone had credits post for streaming services managed via Roku? My Disney+ subscription is via Roku. I updated Roku to use SoFi debit, but not seeing the credits.

Not sure if they fixed the Netflix double credit, but my Netflix charge posted on 4/16 and I only got the 20% off, not 40% off. Don’t see any newer data points, so possibly dead?

Netflix charge went through on 4/8. Two identical credits for 20% each just showed up today (4/10). 👍

DP: Ordered with DoorDash last night. The 20% posted as type “Bonus” today. This is a great deal. Paid most of the tip / delivery fees.

Does this work for Netflix gift cards?

Wondering this too… my Netflix account is already preloaded with gift cards that won’t expire for many more months. Don’t see a way to take advantage of the promo yet.

Good timing. I just did the DD bonus. I’ll leave some cash in there and see if this credits. A great deal if it does.

A better deal than the 5X UR on CIC.

Hulu for $9.49ish

Less valuable on CBS all acess you can get it free most months – helps to have P2 acct.

We get Netflix almost free with T-mo $2 IIRC – but autopay is CIC but will switch to US Bank biz leverage MC for 3+% CB and cell protection.

Apparently the kids cosuins share an extended family Disney+ lol.

Wow, this is amazing! Combined with the DashPass from CSR, this will come in super handy during the apocalypse!

When I switch to the SoFi Money Visa card in the DoorDash cart page (and then refresh), the DashPass benefits are gone – no longer showing reduced fee & free delivery.

Oh man you’re right, that sucks.

I wonder if buying a DD gift card with the Sofi card will trigger the discount.

Well thank you for being the DP. I’m gonna figure out a way to hack the system, I swear.

FYI– I purchased a $25 gift card via the DoorDash app and the 20% bonus DID post for me. I’ll likely max out my remaining SoFi discount via this method.

When you redeem the gift card in DD, you do receive the DashPass benefits when you have your CSR set as your default method of payment, even if the order is only paid for via the gift card credit balance on your account.

Interesting! When I try to buy a gift card in app it takes me to a web browser to launchgiftcards.com. Is this the page you went to that gave the credit?

Yes, it did… same for me.

Proctologist of Credit I did have a semi-successful accidental experiment the other day. Used my Sofi card to pickup food and it turned out the restaurant shut down for Covid. Called DD support and asked them to refund it to my credit balance rather than the card, which they were happy to do. Result? 20% off in what was essentially a gift card. The restaurant is still on the app, so tempting to make a LARGE order from there and then cancel a little while later…

So how do you use this for “Prime Video”? Prime Video is part of your normal Prime service.

Do you think we might get the 20% if we use it to buy prime

Doubtful; Prime is not a streaming service, in contrast to standalone Prime Video and Prime Music.

Perhaps it works if you rent or buy a movie/tv series through Prime Video?
