Cleancult: Get 15% Off Your First Order & 2,500 Swagbucks (Worth $25)

Update 5/11/21: Up to $2,500 Swagbucks. Hat tip to Nemo (note: minimum $20 spend this time)

Update 9/2/20: Available again. Hat tip to reader CT

The Offer

Direct link to offer (or search clean cult)

  • Swagbucks is offering 15% off your first order from cleancult and 2,250 Swagbucks when you spend $10 or more

Our Verdict

They have a funnel for $3.9, with shipping it becomes $11.9 or an $8 money maker Minimum purchase is $10 and offer does not apply to Essentials (dryer balls, funnel, soap) and are excluded from earning SB . Or you could get some products you actually want/need. If you’re new to Swagbucks then please read our review. You can get a bonus of up to $13 by using a referral link.

Crap, I did not read the fine print well enough and I ordered soap…No SBs for me!

I’m trying it.
SB isn’t tracking it but it shows that I “visited”. I took a bazillion screenshots. Be prepared to send in a ticket.
As well, the Sun Basket offer did the same. Didn’t track but I took a ton of screenshots.
Wish me luck. So much effort for “free”.

William Charles The terms look a bit different this time:

“*CLEAN30 cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion or prekitted bundles. Cannot be retroactively applied. Valid for new members only. Must spend $20 or more to earn SB. Members must subscribe to earn SB. SB will appear as Pending for 32 days. Must enter valid sign-up information, including credit card information to earn SB. Offer may only be redeemed once (1) per user.”

Some pitfalls to watch out for:

1. $20 minimum instead of $10;
2. “Members must subscribe to earn SB”: Remember not to get rid of the automatic “membership refills” while checking out, and set a reminder to cancel your subscription after SB posts and before the next shipment ships

Looks like the “direct link to offer“ links to a special offer page with no exclusion language and a minimal order of $20. “Get 30% off your first order with code CLEAN30, plus earn 2,500 SB!*” But Cleancult sb page does says minimal order of $10 and excludes soap, dryer balls, etc.

After reading the comments below, I have decided to skip this offer. It seems that Swagbucks has a tracking issue for this offer. Thanks.

Does NOT work on ESSENTIALS, such as soap.

SB tracked fine when i did last time, The product i ordered was all purpose cleaner and once i cleaned kitchen counter using that, it left a stick substance all over, so had to clean again using my regular cleaner, cleaner definitely needs improvement…but hey free is free 😉

So, if you order, you are automatically signing up for refills? I always pass on subscriptions. Sometimes they can be a headache. Of course, I may not be reading the order page incorrectly. The subscription angle isn’t well stated, IMO. Any other thoughts?

It is a subscription but easy to cancel. I received a response in less than an hour confirming cancelation. You can’t cancel through their website but you can immediately change frequency to every 6 months while you wait for your points to post, then send the cancelation email.

“Please shoot us an email at [email protected] and we’ll be happy to assist you with quickly and easily canceling your subscription.”

Reading through this thread others did the chat option instead but the email approach is what their FAQ recommends and took less time than it did to type this post.
